Over the years the Periodic Table has undergone a number of transformations not only to accommodate elements which were not known to mankind during the time of Mendeleev but also to accommodate new chemical concepts which were introduced in later years.
The presentation will first delve upon historical events which culminated in the introduction of the periodic table concept. This will then be followed by introduction to events which took place in subsequent years resulting in the creation of the present form of the Periodic Table.
