The Society for Promotion for Science & Technology in India (SPSTI) presented a science stage show, sponsored by ISTE Student Chapter, comprising of science experiments at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh for students of 1st year BE programme. The experiments covered various topics of Physics and Chemistry and were perceived to be of utility for engineering application.
About 500 students attended the session and enjoyed the interaction with the presenters who were employees of “Circus of Science’, a mobile science lab operated by the society.
The audience was especially appreciative of demonstration of Tyndall Effect, Total Internal Reflection and Bernoulli’s Theorem. Students were also motivated to take up projects using these basic principles, for the larger good of society.
