Students observed Onion Cells through Projection Microscope at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Balahi

Mobile Science Laboratory visited at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Village Balahi in Thanesar Block of district Kurukshetra.

The experiments performed by the students include Hidden Message through Phenolphthalein indicator, tests of acids & base using litmus and pH papers, displacement reaction of HCl & Zinc to produce Hydrogen Gas and Decomposition reaction of Hydrogen Peroxide using Potassium Iodide as Catalyst.

Students also visualized Onion Cells projected through projection microscope. They learnt the concepts of Eukaryotic and Prokaryotics. Process of Photosynthesis thorough animated videos screened on projector.

Forty-nine boys and thirty-five girls of class 9th performed the experiments of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Thirty-five students of classes 6th to 8th also learnt through interactive models of Mobile Science Lab in outdoor displays.

Smt. Madhu Chauhan, Principal and Dr. Ram Saran, PGT in Physics attended the practical sessions.
