Towards More Harmony and Inclusiveness in HEI Campuses – A Panel Discussion

There has been a spate of dropouts by students from premier Institutions in recent months and years. Some young people have, sadly, taken recourse to the extreme step of ending their own lives. In a recent session of the parliament, a question has been raised concerning these issues. Some of the opinions expressed by learned members of the academic community, in the form of articles appearing in prominent print media of the Country, are attached herewith.

The Society for Promotion of Science & Technology in India (SPSTI) in association with Forum of Retired Vice Chancellors and Directors,Chandigarh Chapters of National Academy of Sciences India (NASI) & INYAS-INSA organized a Panel Discussion to address this issue. The Panel Discussion explored the possible solutions to the vexed issue(s). Eminent Scientists and Administrators joined as Panelists.
