Raman, National Science Day 2021 is celebrated every year on February 28. The District Education Office, Yamunanagar celebrated the same on March 05, 2021 by organizing a Science Fair at Government Senior Secondary School, Jagadhri Workshop, Yamunanagar in which 187 students and 62 teachers from all over the district participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/urben.in\/tccapp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/spsti-6-by-33382223120134816777.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18631\" srcset=\"https:\/\/urben.in\/tccapp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/spsti-6-by-33382223120134816777.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/urben.in\/tccapp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/spsti-6-by-33382223120134816777-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/urben.in\/tccapp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/spsti-6-by-33382223120134816777-768x384.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>The activities conducted included Science Quiz, Seminar, Project Display, an exhibition of coins, tickets, postcards, etc. and Science Exhibition by Mobile Science Laboratory \u2013 Circus of Science.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>District Education Officer, Mrs. Namita Kaushik were the invited chief guest. Mr. Vishal Singhal, District Science Specialist, Yamunanagar organized the Fair. Many teachers were amazed to see many experiments for the first time in their career. Er. Anuj Goel, Manager, Mr. Mahi Paul Sharma, Coordinator, Aman and Sheeshpal, the project assistants explained all experiments available in the Lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"999\" height=\"562\" src=\"https:\/\/urben.in\/tccapp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/img-20210305-wa00121376098220591839581.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18634\" srcset=\"https:\/\/urben.in\/tccapp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/img-20210305-wa00121376098220591839581.jpg 999w, https:\/\/urben.in\/tccapp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/img-20210305-wa00121376098220591839581-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/urben.in\/tccapp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/img-20210305-wa00121376098220591839581-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 999px) 100vw, 999px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mirascope, a device used to create real images was well appreciated. Van De Graf Generator, experiments of electricity and magnetism, demonstration of forces and conservation of energy, were among many others that attracted all students and teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exhibition of Postal Stamps, Coins and Currencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shri Darshan Lal Baweja, Headmaster and a passionate science communicator exhibited his rare collection of coins, postcards, postal tickets, bonds and currency of various countries. Sr. Sec. School, Jagadhri Workshop secured First Position, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Jathlana secured Second Position and Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Jagadhri won the third position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>In Class 10th Science Quiz<\/em><\/strong>, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Model Colony secured First Position, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Laharpur secured Second Position and Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Radaur secured Third Position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>In Seminar Competition<\/em><\/strong>, Khushi of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Budhiya secured First Position, Divyansh of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Jathlana secured Second Position and Gagandeep of Govt. Sr. Sec.
