Gandhi, the Co- Founder of the Institution, Dr. Rajendra Vidayalankar , the Guest of Honour Dr. Keya Dharamveer, the General Secretary, SPSTI, Mr. Dharamveer, the President, SPSTI , Mr. Akash Ekka , Aero Space Engineer and Scientist , Ms. Savita Makkar, Founder, Susheel Educational Research Foundation graced the occasion with their benign presence. The event began with the importance of the day followed by the lighting of the lamp and the sapling presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On this auspicious occasion, an Inter School Rocket Making, Rocket Decoration , Rocket Naming , Poster Making, Slogan Writing and Science, Mathematics and Art Model \/ Project Competitions were held in which the students from the other Gurukuls HOL Partner Schools and the Government Schools, Ambala were invited to participate in the workshop as well as the competitions. The students designed and built their own model rockets followed by a rocket decorating session where they added vibrant colours and space themed designs. The climax was the rocket launching where the students watched their creations soar into sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Akaash Ekka, an Aero Space Engineer and Scientist, who received his training at ISRO, delivered an inspiring and thought provoking talk to motivate and educate the youth about the wonders of the universe. Ms. Keya Dharamveer conducted an open quiz on National Space Day to raise awareness about space exploration, its history and significance and awarded the children with token of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The prize distribution ceremony to honour the winners was also organised on this day.
